University of Oxford
On July 17, we visited University of Oxford for British Culture and Society. There, we were taken on formal tour of the campus and then walked around the city of Oxford.

Jack the Ripper tour in East End
On July 18, we went a tour of the East End where Jack the Ripper use to live and seek out his victims for our Criminal Justice class.

The murders were originally called the Whitechapel murders because of the area they were committed in. It wasn't until this first letter was released to the press that the murderer was then named Jack the Ripper, because that's what the first letter was signed as. It is still controversial whether or not this was actually written by Jack the Ripper or by newspaper to get more readers.
