Stonehenge, Bath, Houses of Parliament

Stonehenge

On July 22,  our British Culture and Society class trip was to Stonehenge.  We were only allowed to admire it from afar.

Bath

After Stonehenge, we rode the bus to Bath.  There we got a tour of the town and then went and toured the Roman Bath.

Houses of Parliament

On July 23, we went on a guided visit of The Houses of Parliament for our Criminal Justice course.  Generally, the public cannot tour any of the government buildings associated with The Houses of Parliament other than Westminster Hall, unless one is a citizen and requests permission. However, we received  permission to go on a tour of the inside with help from Kingston University.  We were able to see rooms that even the Queen herself is not authorized to enter. Unfortunately, we were only permitted to take pictures of the Westminster Hall and the outside of the buildings.
